NEVER DID WE EXPECT SHODDY SERVICES FROM THEM IT DISGUSTS US TO THE MAX.
We were supposed to order the minimum orders of 15 pieces of clothes to enjoy the wholesale prices.
18 MAY 2008
We placed our orders with CLEOCAT FASHION, and it says on the site, that since we had Preorder items, items would only be shipped out on the very day itself where preorder items come in.
Note our new change in order delivery : If preorder items are in your order, your order (incl. instock items) will only be sent out upon date of arrival of preorder items. Orders with no preorder items will be processed immediately and sent out once payment is received. Packages can usually be received within 3 working days after payment is made, you may check your order status by logging in to your account.
We made payment on 19 MAY 2008.
24 MAY 2008
No emails, no sms from the supplier, we had no idea if the clothes were being sent out.
25 MAY 2008
Daphne couldn't take it any longer because we have some orders to rush to our customers, and so we mailed them:
may we know if our order has been mailed out? We need one of the items urgently, the order was supposed to be mailed out 22nd, supposed to reach today (3 days). =/
So, this idiotic supplier replied:
Hi Daphne, yes we have already mailed out your items on Friday 23/5/2008. Normal singpost delivery can be a little erratic and take as long as 4 working days. In future if you need the items urgently, would you like to consider courier instead?
Oh? 4 working days did he say? Yeahh we received the clothes today, but only TWO FREAKING PIECES out of the 15 we've ordered, in an almost torn, crumpled envelope and 2 pieces of dresses haphazardly squeezed into the envelope!!
THREE Singaporeans who were detained under the Internal Security Act (ISA) for involvement with the Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) terrorist network and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) have been released.
A Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) statement on Wednesday said the men 'had cooperated with investigations and shown significant progress in their rehabilitation.'
The three are: JI member Mohammad Sharif Rahmat, who was detained in August 2005; JI member Simon Sabtu and MILF member Husin Abdul Aziz, who were detained in August 2002.

We are dead. Our image is so gone when this "winner" goes to Africa and starts speaking. SOMEBODY MUTE HER! She probably wouldn't even know it when people starts laughing... at her. That would be as good as laughing at our whole nation. Do you know that there are people hidden in some corners of the World who thinks that Singapore is in China? It will be these people who will think that Singaporeans are dumbos -.-
Damn! WHO CROWNED HER?! KELONG!!!
Did she not speak at all during the pageant?! ARE YOU GUY(S) DEATHDEAF?!
There are like some of the most outrageous posts on STOMP. The birth of STOMP was like the birth of BO-LIAO-NESS ("nothing better to do") and encouraging Singaporeans to be bitchy. Tagline could probably be "It's OK to bitch about the slightest thing" :p
I am surprised that this woman, instead of grabbing her son away immediately, had the time to actually take those photographs! AND COMPLAIN! w00t!
Oh, there are soOoOoooo many more posts that I can quote up here before this one. The urge of whining somewhere just built up until I just HAVE to write something to feel better. Haa :p
My mother, and I believe every body else's parents and grandparents and great grandparents had been doing that since way back into the kampong days. What is there to complain about? The stomper stares at that unit everyday? Must be a stalker :p
*surrenders* I can't go on.. I think I've had enough rubbish for myself in a day *rolls eyes* serve me right for poking my nose into the nonsense people whine about. There's less than 10% of anything with quality in there!
Now THESE, you'd love. The wimp and the bitchy woman:
"Give Way to Buses" Scheme posted by jess
@ Sep 03, 2009 01:06:15 PM
How the Scheme Works
The Mandatory Give-Way to Buses Scheme is similar conceptually to a zebra crossing, except that it is meant for buses.
When nearing a bus stop under this scheme, motorists will first see triangular give way markings on the road. These markings indicate that motorists approaching these bus stops need to slow down and watch in case buses are pulling out of the bus bay. Motorists come to a complete stop before the give way line and give way to buses exiting the bus bay at the location. Motorists may continue their journey once the bus has successfully exited the bus bay and no other buses are pulling out from the bus bay.
It will be a traffic offence if motorists do not give way to buses exiting from bus bays where the new road markings are drawn. The penalty for each offence is a fine of $130 (no demerit points).
-- "Motorists may continue their journey once the bus has successfully exited the bus bay and no other buses are pulling out from the bus bay." --
Imagine an area like Bugis during peak hours where multiple buses pulls into the bus stop and moves off at almost consecutively... Imagine there's maybe only 2 or 3 lines... I would hate to be driving man. Probably end up taking an extra 30 minutes to get from point A to point B because of the traffic lights and buses and all.
-- "similar conceptually to a zebra crossing, except that it is meant for buses" --
Buses are buses. They are not anywhere near liking to a human being, termed pedestrian. Pedestrians have zebra crossings and traffic lights. Buses already have BUS LANES and traffic lights AND yellow boxes.
I will not be surprised if and when the number of motor accidents rises in these areas.
